Archery Club

Don't nock it 'til you try it!

This is the official page of MU Archery, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!

Archery is one of the most inclusive sports MU has to offer and beyond that, globally as a sport. It doesn’t exclude anyone based on; gender, age, disability, gender orientation or race.

In our club there are many examples of this. Our members include mature students, Erasmus students and students with varying levels of disability.

The main aim of our club is to teach and encourage students in learning a new skill and to create lasting friendships within the college.

The main activities of the club include weekly training and on special occasions we hold themed training sessions such as Halloween.

The club also attends Intervarsity competitions and we have shown competitive results over the last few years, winning the advanced male barebow last year. As well as this one of our members being awarded Maynooth Universities best First Year Athlete at the annual Clubs and Societies awards night last year!

So in essence the clubs main aim is to make friends and hopefully win some silverware in the process. Join Maynooth Archery!
