Having begun our journey in 2014 as the MU Broadcasting Society, Maynooth Area Radio Station has continued to improve and excel among all other college societies. Having won Most Improved Society in 2015, and then being awarded Best Society overall in 2016, we are going from strength to strength.

MarsFM welcomes students of all abilities to come and try their hand at presenting, DJ-ing, producing, recording and podcasting. We offer hands-on training and guidance in all areas of broadcast media and provide a great environment for our members to make friends and gain valuable radio experience.

With two designated broadcasting and recording studios located in the SU Building, MarsFM provides soul and an atmosphere to the Maynooth Area like no other. If our society sounds like it’s for you, don’t hesitate to join us and our presenters in our goal to filling Maynooth Campus with the richest entertainment around.
