Our Top 5 Exam Tips:

Know your Exam Schedule:
It might sound obvious, but we have all been there... It's 30 minutes before your exam and you realise it's on in a different location than you thought... Check your Exam Timetable, check it again! Make sure you are certain about where the exam is taking place and when it is due to begin.

Be Prepared:
Have your exam kit ready- a couple of pens, water, your student card, a scientific calculator if required. Don't be scrambling for these things on the morning of your exam!

Digital Detox:
Remember that you are not allowed to have technology on your person during an exam. Your phone etc. must be turned off and placed under your chair. It's not enough to have it on silent in your pocket...

Stay Healthy:
Practice mindfulness in the run up to your exam, try to eat healthily and stay hydrated. Your mind and body are interlinked- keep your body healthy and your brain will perform better during the exam.

And relax:
Exam didn't go well? Again- we have all been there and it's usually not as bad as you think right now. If you need to talk to someone then contact one of us here in the Students' Union- we are here for you.

Exam Regulations:

You can find all the rules and regulations about exams on the Maynooth University website.

Help & Support:

If you need any advice or support, pop into the SU Info Centre in the MSU Student Centre, keep an eye out for one of our Officers in the Library or email Michael, your VP Education, on education@msu.ie

Best of luck in all your exams- You Got This!
