Rachel is a content creator and sustainable fashion enthusiast, who began her Youtube channel as a former Maynooth student. Rachel's talk will focus on her love of fashionable, thrifted clothing and the issues that exist in the 'sustainable fashion' world.

Interview with Retrospect Clothing

Gary Kelly is a third year at Maynooth University studying Product Design. Retrospect Clothing has been an idea for quite awhile and lockdown gave him the time to actually bring it to life. It is growing rapidly and he is delighted to see that people are so enthusiastic about sustainable fashion. Not only are the pieces unique and vintage, every time you shop sustainably you’re helping the planet and reducing material waste going to landfill!

Cazza's Chazzas Tips & Tricks, with Caroline Croke

This session will provide an insight into the effects of fast fashion, how to get steals on Depop and how to be a sustainable fashionista. Having been introduced to environmental issues while studying in Maynooth 2 years ago, learning about sustainable fashion has changed the way Caroline views fashion. She's picked up tips and tricks about how to find funky things in chazzas!

DIY Upstyling Workshop, by The Useless Project

Taz and Geraldine will flood your screens with tips and examples and simple upcycling hacks when it comes to painting, embroidering, stitching and generally adding some va-va-voom to your wardrobe.

This is the perfect opportunity to inject some individual flair and creativity into an item that you might have fallen out of love with, and turn it into something that puts a pep in your step every time you wiggle into it.

What is a capsule wardrobe? Capsule wardrobe is just a cute name for a collection of useful clothing that you LOVE, that changes with each season. Kelly is going to give you the beginners run down on how to make it work with less, saving you time in the morning & helping the environment at the same time
