The Executive 

The Executive is the elected student leadership team responsible for representing the interests and voices of students across Maynooth University and St Patrick’s Pontifical University. The Executive is made up of full-time and part-time officers, each with specific areas of responsibility including academic affairs, welfare, equity and inclusion, student life, and representation of different student communities. Together, they work to ensure that students have a strong voice within the university and that their concerns, experiences and needs are reflected in the decisions that affect them

The purpose of the Executive is ultimately to improve the student experience and advocate for students both within the university and in the wider community. This involves campaigning on issues that matter to students, providing support and services, engaging with university management, and creating opportunities for students to get involved in campus life. The Executive also helps shape the direction of the Students’ Union, ensuring that it remains democratically led and accountable to its members
