Senate Positions

Running for the AMLMN-MSU Student Senate is an amazing opportunity to take an active role in representing your fellow students and having your say on the decisions that shape their Union. As a Senator, you can bring forward the issues that matter to the students you represent, challenge ideas, contribute your own perspective, and ensure that different experiences from across campus are heard when decisions are being made. It is an opportunity to get involved in debate, scrutinise the work of your elected officers, and use your vote to influence the direction AMLMN-MSU takes. You do not need previous experience in student representation or to know everything about the Students’ Union to get involved – what matters is being willing to listen, engage, ask questions, and speak up for others. If you have opinions about what your Union should be doing or want to make sure students like they have a voice in the room, the Student Senate is your opportunity to take a seat at the table!
