msu Elections - 13th & 14th march 2024

Maynooth Students’ Union (MSU) is the representative organisation formed to represent the students of Maynooth University and (MU) St Patrick’s Pontifical Univerity (SPPU). MSU is a democratic, member-led organisation, and each year, in March and October, MSU elects students to lead the organisation for the year ahead.

The elected members of the MSU Executive and MSU Student Senate tirelessly advocate on behalf of the student body to promote and defend their rights within the university and at a regional and national level.

There are 12 MSU Executive positions (4 Full-Time Officers) and (8 voluntary Part-time Officers) up for election in the MSU Elections 2024.

If you would like to nominate yourself for any of the positions, you can download a nomination form from The Executive Elections tab to the left or the MSU Student Senate, alternatively you can call to collect a form from the MSU Info Centre

MSU Elections are decided by the students who go out and vote. Take some time and learn about the candidates and their policies.  If you don’t vote, someone else will make the decision for you. Your power is in your vote.
