Boxing Club

Train hard, fight easy.

MU Boxing Club is for anyone who is interested in learning to box, looking to compete or just maintain their boxing skills. All levels are welcome from beginners to experienced boxers. Boxing is great for fitness levels and is a great way to build confidence and become acquainted with like minded students.

 

Once our boxers become confident in their skills we travel to clubs to spar and train and will be entering competitions. We will enter the inter-varsities in March and two years ago we had great success coming home with one gold and two silvers. This year we hope to enter more tournaments and win more medals with more boxers.

 

We train every Tuesday and Thursdays from 7-8pm in the small sports hall in the confident hands of our very experienced coach Paddy Gallagher. For beginners all you need to bring is yourself, €2 and lots of water! Training to start on Tuesday 9th of October.
