Confirmed! Johnny Joyce, top Irish chess player and captain of the bray-greytones chess club, has responded and is going to come down to maynooth! Making a date with him currently. It will be posted on the page and an event made.
-please note that our weekly meetups have moved to the Callan Building lecture room 5 (CB5) due to JH5 being unavailable. We are still on on Wed. @6:30pm. Apologies to anyone that was only looking at this and not the page. Now that it is updated I hope to see you there. Do not forgot to go to our group and page for future updates (link below)
-There is an event on in the SU that had delayed the commuter hours and canceling the plan of 12pm-3pm chess today. We shall be making sure the booking is made on Monday, the start of next week.
