Maynooth is proud to have one of the highest percentages of mature students in the country, with over 300 new matures beginning their studies every September. The experiences and needs of mature students can differ greatly from the general student population so there are specific supports available to help you get the most from your University experience.

In the SU we have a Mature Students Senator. Part of their role is to ensure the needs of mature students are represented at Student Senate. There is also a Mature Students Society who endeavour to connect mature students by arranging events and meetups.

In the University there is a Mature Student Officer based in MAP Lodge who can assist you and answer any questions you may have.
